Pink to Be Launched By Microsoft

Microsoft Corp. is planning to launch a new set of mobile phones which would be capable of social networking.

The product would be aimed at luring younger customers who are always waiting to try new gadgets available in the market.

Based on a fresh project of Microsoft development, the new phone which has been christened ‘Pink’ would probably be available in the US markets towards the later part of this month. The project is in progress under a partnership with Verizon Wireless.

Microsoft’s launch of the new handsets is a clue that the software developer is now keen on getting involved in the hardware side of handset business.

This move may also be due to a feeling of developing those products for consumers which can give them enjoyment and a nice experience when they use the product.

Microsoft has designed hardware, the software, and online services for this new handset whereas Sharp Corp. of Japan is in the process of manufacturing the equipment for the same.

The project is a mock-up of one product which had been used to develop a gadget known as the Sidekick.

Apparently SK Telecom will be offering that phone, though there isn’t any official confirmation on that just yet. Specifications of the Motorola Titanium include:

• Wi-Fi

LG BL40v Chocolate, “See Things Differently”

Eye catching corners with edgy slim slider design, that sum up my general artistic view with the LG BL40v. Although, I’m not really into rectangular shape phones, there’s something about this cellphone which makes me feel gorgeous about it.

Tag with an interesting statement:  “See Things Differently”, the LG BL40v also known as “LG chocolate” will define color with its 4" wide HD LCD tied with its 16M colors. It is expected that the richness of colors will eventually keep memories alive tag along with full paranomic multimedia experience, you'll definitely see the world with the pinch of unfamiliarity but in a good and satisfying way.

Some of the reviews courtesy of cnet:

"Tall and slim design; ultra-wide display; multi-touch support; great range of features"
"Can feel slightly unresponsive at times; S-Class interface is overly complicated in places"
"It may be jam-packed with really great features, but the LG Chocolate BL40's disappointing user interface means it's not as satisfying a handset to use as the iPhone or HTC Hero"
